LOWER TAXES. BETTER LIVING. REAL RESULTS.

Putting families, seniors, and small businesses first — for a safer, more affordable Miami-Dade.

About Natalie Milian Orbis

Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis is a lifelong public servant, proud mother, and former Vice Mayor of the City of West Miami, now serving as the Miami-Dade County Commissioner for District 6.

Appointed on May 6, 2025, to fill the vacancy left by now-U.S. Ambassador Kevin Marino Cabrera, Commissioner Milian Orbis enters office with nearly two decades of hands-on experience across every major area of County government—from permitting and infrastructure to housing, public safety, and economic development. Her appointment followed broad community support, including endorsements from residents, every Mayor within District 6, labor groups and elected officials at all levels. Commissioner Milian Orbis serves as the Vice Chair of the Government Efficiency and Ad Hoc Committee and is also a member of both the Airport Committee and the Appropriations Committee.

Natalie's Priorities

Lowering Taxes

Commissioner Milian Orbis is cutting taxes and cracking down on waste to put more money back in people’s pockets. She’s also working to make it easier—and cheaper—to do business in Miami-Dade by streamlining permits, slashing fees, and eliminating red tape.

And because time is money, she’s fighting for smart infrastructure upgrades to ease traffic congestion and improve daily commutes across the County.

The goal is simple: lower the cost of living, grow local jobs, and build an economy that works for everyone.

Stronger Support For Families

As a working mother of two, Commissioner Milian Orbis knows that families are the heart of Miami-Dade. That’s why she’s delivering real, family-first solutions—safer neighborhoods, stronger schools, and more affordable homes—so parents can raise their kids and thrive in the communities they love.

Delivering For Our Seniors

Seniors deserve to age with dignity, respect, and access to the services they’ve earned. From transportation and healthcare to housing and community programs, Commissioner Milian Orbis is expanding support for older adults across the County.

She’s also launching Senior Services on Wheels—a mobile initiative bringing County help directly into senior buildings. From healthcare enrollment to utility assistance, this program ensures seniors get the services they need without having to leave home.
Because in Miami-Dade, we don’t just serve seniors—we show up for them.

Standing With Our First Responders

Commissioner Milian Orbis proudly stands with the brave men and women who protect our communities. She’s committed to making sure police officers, firefighters, and emergency personnel have the tools, training, and support they need to keep families safe.

From investing in public safety to backing those who serve—Milian Orbis has their back.

Government Accountability & Efficiency

As Vice Chair of the Government Efficiency Committee, Commissioner Milian Orbis is leading efforts to cut red tape and deliver faster, more reliable service. With nearly 20 years in local government, she knows where the problems are—and how to fix them.

Her focus is clear: make government work smarter, deliver more, and waste less.

Constituent-Driven Governance

Commissioner Milian Orbis believes the best ideas come from the people—not from politicians. That’s why she works hand-in-hand with residents, local leaders, and neighborhood groups to shape policy and set priorities.

Through town halls, public input, and strong community partnerships, she’s making sure the voice of the people drives County government—not the other way around.
